CHOW restaurant was opened in 2007 by Chef/Owner David Touvell and then friend, now partner Chef Ryan Sturmer. CHOW was one of the first restaurants to bring "farm to fork" to Bend. Sustainability has been a core tenant of our business since our first service. We partner with local purveyors to source the highest quality regional ingredients. We buy local and organic whenever possible and never allow hormones or antibiotics into our kitchen. When you eat CHOW, you know you're eating clean.

You'll find we keep it simple and let true, intense flavors shine through. We offer our full breakfast and lunch menus along with specials daily. We love all our customers and cater to vegetarians and vegans as well as carnivores. We also have a special place in our hearts for those guests avoiding gluten. We have carefully crafted all our dishes to appeal to a wide variety of dietary preferences and needs.

We find great joy in opening our restaurant for private dinners and special events in the evenings because it provides us the opportunity to work with fans of our cuisine to create custom menus and culinary experiences.
